On August 13, 2026, the page published a post using the Amhara Media Corporation (AMCO) logo and official branding with the headline, "The illegal Prosperity Party has no dream of developing through cooperation, but only of fighting as a group." At the time of review, the post had more than 600 likes, 105 comments, and 21 shares. Although the post was not directly related to the National Dialogue, it was in line with the page's anti-government content.
The CARD Fact-Checking Team verified the picture and found that it was AI-generated. The team used Google Reverse Image Search and visually checked the picture, which also showed clear signs of AI generation. The picture shared on social media showed Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
The team also found that the original graphic was published by Amhara Media Corporation (AMCO), a regional media outlet, on Facebook on August 12, 2026. The original graphic showed TPLF leader Debretsion Gebremichael and had the headline, "The illegal TPLF has no dream of developing through cooperation, but only of fighting as a group." However, the version shared on social media changed the picture and replaced "TPLF" with "Prosperity Party" in the headline.
