The training covers a wide range of topics, including fundamental concepts of human rights, freedom of expression, assembly, and demonstration, and gender rights and women's equality. Platforms will also be created for trainees to have the opportunity to network and continuously engage with their local communities and respective schools as well as wider communities of human rights defenders.
This year's NGHRDs project is open to high school students in Addis Ababa. Applicants must be passionate about human rights and have a strong commitment to social justice.
To register, interested applicants have to fill this linked form. The deadline to register is Sunday, October 22, 2023.
The NGHRDs project is part of CARD's broader commitment to building constituency for promotion and protection of human rights in Ethiopia.
