Call for Participation on CARD's Werdwet Research Fellowship Research Launch

CARD Werdwet Research Fellowship Program (Werdwet Fellowship) is launched by the Center for Advancement of Rights and Democracy (CARD), a board-led, for-not-profit organization registered in Ethiopia under the revised Civil Societies Law 1113/2019 with registry number 4307, to promote indigenous knowledge to fight inequality and look for ways of protecting the rights of minorities and vulnerable groups.

One of the selected research topics for the CARD Fellowship is “Psycho-social and Economic Empowerment within Periodic Religious Gatherings of Women: Exploring the Ethiopian Experience”, which has studied the impact of Tsïwwa Mahbärs, Muslim Student Jumu’ah, and female prayer groups in Ethiopia.

CARD has organized a half-day research launching and dissemination workshop on Wednesday, Feb 17th, 2021, and would like to invite all interested applicants to register to attend the workshop. Please fill out and submit the form by Feb 15th, 2021.
